The Sirius University of Science and Technology and Rosatom Technical Academy will create an educational project "School of Nuclear Medicine." This was reported by the university's press service.
It will bring together in Sirius leading medical, scientific and educational centers working in the field of nuclear medicine, oncology, cardiology, medical isotopes, development and production of radiopharmaceutical drugs.
The project will also help in training qualified specialists in the field of nuclear medicine. Nuclear medicine programs will include advanced training for medical chemists, radiochemists and radiopharmacists, medical physicists, training in radionuclide diagnostics and therapy, and other areas.
The main event at the beginning of the school's work will be a conference on nuclear medicine. It is scheduled for January 2025. The event will be attended by 50 leading specialists in nuclear medicine in Russia.
