Chery has launched mass production of the flagship model in the Chery lineup in Russia — the Tiggo 9 crossover. Production has begun at the plant in Qingdao.
The company noted the high level of quality assessment and automation in the production of cars manufactured at the Chery Group's head plant. At the final stage of inspection, a test drive of the assembled car takes place, during which engineers assess the operation of the hubs, wheels, headlights, suspension components, and other units.
The launch of Chery Tiggo 9 sales in Russia is scheduled for December. Prices for the new Chery Tiggo 9 are not yet known, but you can pre-order. The deposit is 30 thousand rubles, and a set of winter tires will be a bonus with this purchase system.
The Tiggo 9 for the Russian market is the Chinese Tiggo 8L. Body length — 4810 mm, height — 1741 mm, width — 1925 mm, wheelbase — 2800 mm.
In Russia, the crossover is offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission, a 2.0-liter engine with 249 hp, and an all-wheel drive system with an electronically controlled clutch.
Among the options: a driver's seat with various power adjustments, an electronic instrument panel, multimedia with two screens, a 15.6-inch central display with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
