Не только новый дизель: УАЗ «Патриот» получит две коробки передач

The cars should appear on the market in 2025

As part of the modernization, the UAZ "Patriot" will receive not only a new diesel engine, but also two new gearboxes: a six-speed manual and a completely new six-speed automatic. In addition, a transfer case with electronic control will be included in the car's design.

Adil Shirinov, head and co-owner of the Sollers Group, did not name specific dates for the appearance of the "Patriot" with new components, but, apparently, the car will be released on the market as early as 2025.

In the process of updating, the "Patriot" will also receive modernized LED headlights, as well as a modified front panel, steering wheel and central tunnel.

According to Adil Shirinov, the "Patriot" will be updated simultaneously with the UAZ "Profi" 4x2 model. This model received a diesel engine, a 6-speed manual gearbox and a transfer case with electronic control.

Interestingly, engineers are also working on improving the existing "ZMZ Pro" gasoline engine. It is also planned to be integrated with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a transfer case with electronic control.

As it became known earlier, it is planned to install a new JAC diesel engine in the UAZ "Patriot". Prior to that, there was an attempt to install a Ford engine, but it turned out to be unsuccessful due to significant changes in the car's design, such as the restructuring of the side members.
