Kovrov enterprises of the "High-Precision Complexes" holding demonstrated their innovations in the field of robotics to Senator of the Federation Council Vladimir Kiselev. During his visit to the region, the member of the Committee on Budget and Financial Markets, representing the Vladimir Region, got acquainted with the achievements of the Kovrov Electromechanical Plant (KEMZ) and VNII "Signal".
The General Director of VNII "Signal" and the managing company KEMZ, Vladimir Pimenov, showed the senator new developments: the robotic complex with the ANT-1000 PM fire module, the MGR-4 "Bumblebee" humanitarian demining machine, and the modernized model of the ANT-1200 mini-loader on a tracked chassis. All these robotic systems are based on serially produced KEMZ front-end loaders, and innovative remote control systems were developed at VNII "Signal" to control them.
Pimenov emphasized that this approach significantly speeds up the process of creating new machines without increasing their cost, which contributes to a quick response to market demands. For example, if there is a need for loaders with a tracked chassis, enterprises will be able to quickly establish their production, and vice versa.
Special attention was paid to the ease of operation of civil equipment manufactured by KEMZ. The senator personally appreciated this by testing the ANT-1200 mini-loader and the sapper robot. He praised the developments of the holding's enterprises, emphasizing their importance for the modern market and their importance in the context of security and technological progress.
