Роскомнадзор не подтвердил улучшения качества работы YouTube в России

The Network Monitoring and Management Center States that the Video Service's Performance Remains Unchanged

The Center for Monitoring and Management of the Public Communication Network (ЦМУ ССОП, part of Roskomnadzor) reported that there have been no changes in the performance of the YouTube video service in Russia.

Thus, Roskomnadzor refuted rumors that the service is restoring its operation after the intervention of the President of the Russian Federation.

Problems with YouTube's performance in Russia arose back in August. The service is being slowed down by Roskomnadzor, despite not being officially blocked. On November 13, director Karen Shakhnazarov raised the issue of YouTube's slowdown at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, who promised to look into the situation.
