The Wildberries&Russ empire is expanding its areas of operation: now it may have private fire crews. Tatyana Kim, founder of Wildberries and head of RVB, spoke about these plans on her social networks. According to her, the company already has a round-the-clock Fire Safety Department, which is headed by a retired colonel of the internal service. More than a thousand people monitor fire safety in warehouses and sorting facilities.
To do this, we reorganized one of the legal entities and created the Union of Fire Specialists. We have provided the warehouses with everything necessary, and we also conduct regular training in fire safety rules and briefings on the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment. Next year, we have already planned fire-tactical exercises involving the forces and means of local garrisons. We are also going to establish our own production of automatic fire extinguishing systems and obtain a license from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the right to extinguish fires in order to create our own combat crews.
Earlier in 2024, after the merger of the Wildberries marketplace and the outdoor advertising operator Russ, the merged companies had already launched their own network of gas stations and opened a virtual museum.
