The cars will be available with front and all-wheel drive. The top-of-the-line cars will be equipped with a panoramic roof. The official cost of the cars is not yet known, nor is the exact start date of sales.

Insiders have learned that knockdown assembly of cars will be available until the end of 2025. It is until this time that Chery will supply car kits from China to the plant. What will happen after that is unknown.

As a reminder, the XCITE X-Cross 8 is a rebranded Chery Tiggo 8 Pro. A crossover, externally similar to the new XCITE, was spotted near the scientific and technical center of AvtoVAZ in June. The car was undergoing tests there.

The domestic auto giant is directly related to the XCITE brand. Initially, the cars were to be sold under the LADA X-Cross brand, but Western sanctions made adjustments to these plans. By the way, XCITE brand cars are sold in LADA showrooms.
