In October 2024, the Russian market for new crossovers and SUVs saw a noticeable revival. According to Avito Auto, the number of listings in this category increased by 53.9% compared to the previous year, and demand increased by 35.9%. At the same time, the average cost of cars remained almost unchanged at 2,891,000 rubles.
Lada leads the ranking of car brands, occupying 15% of the market. The remaining positions in the top 5 are occupied by Chinese brands: Haval, Geely, Chery and Changan.
In October 2024, the following models were the most in demand among SUVs and crossovers:
Lada Niva Legend — demand share is 11.2%, average price is 1,076,000 rubles.
Haval Jolion — demand share — 6.8%, average price — 2,499,000 rubles.
«Moskvich 3» — demand share — 4.6%, average price — 1,770,000 rubles.
As a reminder, AvtoVAZ no longer produces some configurations of Niva Travel, Lada Largus and Lada Niva Legend cars.
