The Ruselectronics holding (part of Rostec) has increased the production and supply of shredders for destroying secret documents and secret information carriers without the possibility of recovery. They are increasingly ordered by law enforcement agencies, government departments and defense industry enterprises.
The Novosibirsk Radio Parts Plant "Oxide" (part of Ruselectronics) is engaged in the production of shredders from Russian components.
The growth in the volume of confidential documentation has created a steady demand for means for its subsequent disposal. Since the beginning of the year, we have transferred 55 shredders to customers, twice as many as in the same period last year. Our devices comply with the highest security class P-7, which allows them to be used in security agencies, as well as at industrial enterprises.
The "Super-Shredder" is capable of shredding up to six sheets of standard density paper of 80 g/m2 simultaneously at a cross-cutting speed of 60 mm per second. A sheet of A4 paper then breaks down into fragments less than 2.5 mm2 in size. This makes it impossible to recover the destroyed paper document, even with the use of special software and hardware.
The device is also capable of destroying plastic cards, CDs and DVDs with classified information without the possibility of recovery.
