From February 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, auto parts marking may be introduced in Russia at the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The draft government decree "On conducting an experiment on the territory of the Russian Federation on marking certain types of automotive spare (replaceable) parts with identification means" is already on the Federal Portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
According to the document, marking will be tested on filters, spark plugs, and various types of automotive glass. The operator of the experiment will be Operator-CRPT LLC, and participation in it will be voluntary for manufacturers, importers of auto parts, and wholesale and retail trade organizations.
It is assumed that a certain hypothesis, as well as technologies related to applying identification means to goods and monitoring their circulation, will be tested within a year.
