Russian company Severstal took part in the largest oil and gas exhibition in the Middle East, ADIPEC 2024, which was held in Abu Dhabi. This was reported by the company's press service.
The Severstal booth was visited by Mikhail Ivanov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, and Osama Fadel, Deputy Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the UAE. As the press service emphasized, the cold-formed Grani sheet pile, designed to strengthen the soil, aroused particular interest among the exhibition participants.
What Severstal showed at ADIPEC 2024:
- large diameter pipes for oil and gas transportation
- flat products for the production of oil and gas grade pipes
- high-strength ropes
With the participation of Severstal, work was done to create an API 5L analogue standard and its recognition in ADNOC (is the national oil company of the UAE, it is the 12th largest company in the world in terms of oil production).
ADIPEC is a platform for promoting Russian solutions in the Middle East market, including the UAE. The exhibition featured stands from more than 2,200 companies from around the world, and was visited by almost 184,000 people.
