С подкрылками и надкрылками: в Челябинске разработан новый тип БПЛА

Drone equipped with a neural network add-on for the electronic control system

A new type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been created at the South Ural State University (SUSU). Its flight is more reliable and predictable compared to analogues.

Unmanned aerial vehicle control systems exist, but they are not combined with elements such as flaps and slats, because such details on the wings of drones of this type have not been made before us. The uniqueness of our invention is not only in the additional regulating elements, but also in the neural network add-on for the electronic control system.
Konstantin Osintsev, Head of the Department of Industrial Heat Power Engineering at SUSU, reported

Currently, the developers are creating a neural network that will develop a database of errors during the UAV flight. The goal of the project is to reduce fuel consumption or battery charge by an unmanned aerial vehicle.

Earlier www1.ru reported that a new cargo drone has appeared in Russia: it is already being tested.
