Soon, the Russian military will receive the latest Kh-39M multi-purpose air-launched missile, according to military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
Official specifications of the projectile are currently unknown.
The modernized Kh-39M multi-purpose tactical missile is in the final stages of design, featuring a higher impulse solid propellant rocket motor charge, providing a range of 25+ km, comparable to the American JAGM tactical missile.
Currently, the Russian Aerospace Forces actively use the subsonic multi-purpose tactical missile Kh-39 LMUR with a range of 14.5 km.
Previously, a rare modification of the T-90A with the "Essa" sight based on Catherine-FC was spotted at Uralvagonzavod.
