Chinese company Sinotruk, specializing in the production of trucks, is opening its representative office in Russia to support the Sitrak and Howo brands. The organization's tasks will include expanding the dealer network and organizing the supply of original spare parts directly from the manufacturer.
In 2007, the first trucks from the Chinese manufacturer Sinotruk appeared on the Russian market. These vehicles were supplied through distributors, and gradually the brand firmly established its niche in the market.
In 2022–2024, sales grew very actively, so it was decided to open the company's own representative office.
At the beginning of this year, a regional branch was launched, which provides customers with a full range of after-sales services. The structure of the Sinotruk representative office includes departments responsible for after-sales service, warranty service, spare parts supply, dealer network development, finance, logistics and marketing.
This summer, it became known that the AMO plant (formerly a Volvo enterprise) is actively interacting with the Chinese company Sinotruck. It is planned to launch the assembly of Sitrak and Howo tractors at the production facilities located in Kaluga.
Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha also said that 27 thousand cars will be assembled at the region's three automobile plants by the end of the year.
