Russian military forces are using the portable 13-kilogram 2B25 "Gall" mortar to destroy the enemy. A photo of one of the samples in service with our soldiers was published online.
The uniqueness of this mortar, designed primarily for special forces units, lies in its silence, as well as the absence of telltale signs when fired, such as smoke and flame.
To achieve these characteristics, 82-mm mines of a special design were developed. An important advantage is that the 2B25 can be carried by one soldier.
The time to bring it into combat readiness is 15 seconds, and the firing range is from 100 to 1200 meters. The rate of fire without restoring the aiming is 22 rounds per minute.
