Mad Max, отдыхай: диковинного вида бронемашину на базе танка Т-62 заметили на фронте

It has protection against frontal FPV drone strikes

A bizarre-looking tracked vehicle has been spotted on the front line. It is equipped with engineering equipment for clearing terrain of mines.

A "super-grill" - an anti-drone net - was installed on the hull of the T-62 medium tank, which apparently had its turret removed. For even greater protection against kamikaze UAVs, an additional layer of steel mesh was stretched on top.

The distance between it and the internal screens was ensured by the installation of sleeves from 115-mm tank shells.

In the front, you can see a BTU-55 bulldozer blade, which also creates additional resistance to ammunition attacking the frontal part. The integrated electromagnetic trawl neutralizes mines with non-contact magnetic fuses.

Earlier, a rare modification of the T-90A with the Essa sight based on Catherine-FC was spotted at Uralvagonzavod.
