The "Kalashnikov" concern announced that it is introducing a long-term planning system in the tooling production division"to ensure continuous tool filling of production flows". The system is associated with a projected increase in tooling production in 2025 by more than 30%.
The new system provides for a phased increase in the planning horizon and implementation of the production plan from one to three months using weekly planning of site loading, specialized accounting metrics and daily control. The increase in the planning horizon is envisaged for both volumetric calendar and operational planning, taking into account the approved standard cycle for the manufacture of technological equipment. This will ensure that tooling production is supplied with blanks and materials no later than one and a half months before the start of the reporting period. The division's transition to the new planning system will be completed by the end of December this year.
The division currently produces a wide range of high-speed steel metal-cutting tools, measuring tools, solid metal-cutting tools, molds, dies, auxiliary tools, fixtures and tooling. These products are used by both enterprises within the concern and external customers.
