The Rostec State Corporation will expand its production and testing facilities for the production of aircraft engines. The Perm-based ODK-STAR enterprise has begun construction of new workshops, where it is planned to create and test units for aircraft engines.
A modern building with an area of more than 4.3 thousand m² is being erected on the site of the old test building. It will house special equipment of Russian production, including stands for adjusting, running-in and preserving units. Hydromechanical units for TV7-117ST-01, PS-90A, PD-8 and PD-14 aircraft engines will be tested here.
Also in Perm, the construction of a modern two-story building with an area of 17 thousand m² has already begun, where a full cycle of manufacturing electronic units and conducting presentation and acceptance tests will be carried out. More than 300 units of high-tech equipment will be installed for the creation of electronic units.
Production buildings with a total area of more than 21.3 thousand m² are planned to be commissioned by mid-2026.
