The grand opening ceremony of the "Sevkabel" plant for the production of cable products took place in Pskov. The enterprise was relocated from St. Petersburg. It is located on the territory of "SKT Group". "Akron Holding" JSC will manage the plant.
I hope that the new site of the legendary "Sevkabel" plant will take a worthy place in the cable industry market, develop modern technologies, implement world-class solutions and localize the production of critical components in Russia.
5 billion rubles were invested in the enterprise. Government assistance amounted to 268 million rubles.
The launch of the production site marked the revival of "Sevkabel". It is timed to coincide with the 145th anniversary of the creation of the first cable plant. Exhibits from the museum fund were presented at the ceremony, including the "cable of life" from besieged Leningrad, as well as product samples.
It is worth recalling that "Sevkabel" was founded in 1878 in St. Petersburg. It is one of the first and oldest cable factories in Russia.
