The charging time for electric vehicles in the capital has been reduced by four times. This result is thanks to new powerful stations.
Since the launch of the "Energy of Moscow" project, about 250 fast charging stations with a capacity of 150 kilowatts have been installed in the capital. The time required for a full charge has been reduced from two hours to half an hour.
We expect 1 million charging sessions at urban electric charging stations soon. By 2030, we predict the growth of the capital's electric vehicle fleet to 320 thousand.
To achieve this goal, it is necessary to expand the network of charging stations to 30 thousand. Moscow is gradually becoming a leader in the use of environmentally friendly transport.
Earlier, the capital extended the zero transport tax on electric vehicles. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin drew attention to the importance of using environmentally friendly vehicles, as cars account for more than 80% of air pollution in the capital.
