More than 13 million rubles were stolen in the company "Plastic Logic" (founded by "Rosnano") during the creation of the Russian tablet. The funds were transferred abroad. This was reported by the Center for Public Relations (CPR) of the FSB of Russia.
During the support of a criminal case investigated by the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, initiated under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of Russia (embezzlement or misappropriation on a particularly large scale), the FSB established the involvement of the former General Director of Plastic Logic LLC, Galkin Boris Yurievich, in the theft of more than 13 billion rubles.
The former CEO of the company, Boris Galkin, had been hiding abroad since 2020. He was arrested at the end of August this year on suspicion of embezzlement. However, the defendant's human rights activists claim that he was not involved in the theft.
It is worth noting that in 2011, a flexible tablet for schoolchildren was presented to Vladimir Putin by Anatoly Chubais, who at that time held the post of General Director of Rosnano.
It was planned that the device would replace all textbooks. Two years later, it was established that no one was involved in the implementation of the project, and the plant in Zelenograd was never built.
