The Murmansk branch of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) has audited 5 compressor units (refrigeration equipment) of the company "BarentsKool". This was reported by the press service of the register.
"BarentsKool" is the only manufacturer of industrial ammonia refrigeration equipment for ships in the region. The company manufactures heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and assembles compressor refrigeration units with a capacity of up to 197 kW.
Senior Engineer-Inspector of the Murmansk branch of RS, Sergey Korotkov, stated that "BarentsKool" products are not inferior to foreign analogs. They ensure the smooth operation of refrigeration equipment on ships.
The company's units are supplied to ships of project 200101 (longliner, customer — "YAMSy") and MT 1112XL (fishing trawler, customer — LLC "Arktikrybflot"). Russian equipment will replace foreign equipment.
