Russian Helicopters Holding (part of Rostec State Corporation) has successfully replaced the control and autopilot system of the Ansat helicopter with domestic counterparts, the state corporation's press service reported.
Denis Manturov familiarized himself with the status of the import-substituted Ansat program during his visit to the Kazan Helicopter Plant.
Preparations are currently underway for ground checks of the aircraft, which will be followed by flight tests of the Ansat with new engines. The first flight is scheduled to take place before the end of this year.
All components of the control and autopilot system on the helicopter have been replaced with Russian ones. In addition, the Ansat has been equipped with the VK-650V engine.
