In October 2024, the most affordable new car in Russia remains the Lada Granta. Today, this model can be bought for only 699,900 rubles.
For this money, the owner will receive a car with a 1.6-liter engine, a five-speed manual gearbox, an electric power steering, electric windows on the front doors, and side mirrors with electric adjustment and heating function.
In total, the list of the most affordable cars in Russia in October included 10 models.
After the Lada Granta model comes the Lada Niva Legend SUV, which can be purchased at a price of 981,000 rubles. The car is equipped with a 1.7-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 83 horsepower and a manual gearbox.
Buyers can also consider the Lada Niva Travel, which costs from 1,314,000 rubles.
The car has a 1.7-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 80 horsepower, working in conjunction with a five-speed manual gearbox and an all-wheel drive system. The basic equipment of the SUV includes side mirrors with heating and electric drive, 15-inch steel wheels and an audio system.
Next comes the updated Lada Vesta with a 90 horsepower engine. It is followed by the UAZ "Hunter", the price of which starts from 1,510,000 rubles. This car is equipped with a gasoline engine with a capacity of 112 horsepower and a manual gearbox.
The ranking of the most affordable cars included Livan X3 Pro, Changan Alsvin, Lada Largus. The list is closed by domestic UAZ "Patriot" and "Moskvich-3". The minimum retail price of the latter is 1,700,000 rubles. This is how the car, released in 2024, in the basic version, equipped with a 1.5-liter engine, was evaluated. "Patriot" can be bought for a minimum of 1,680,000 rubles.
Earlier it became known that exports of cars from Japan have increased in Russia. Representatives of state bodies of the Land of the Rising Sun reported that in September of this year, 132.2% more used vehicles were exported to Russia than in the same period of the previous year. The total trade turnover between the countries in September increased by 22.7%.
It is also worth paying attention to the fact that the Central Bank may introduce restrictions on car loans. If they do come into effect, experts warned, then car sales will sag, it will be difficult for buyers and dealers.
