Videos have circulated online showing the standard version of the Kh-59MK2 multi-purpose tactical missile for external placement on the Su-57 fighter. Expert Evgeny Damantsev explained why the Russian Aerospace Forces are using this particular munition.

If the Su-57 pilots are tasked with striking at a depth of 250 km, which would require reaching the lines of possible detection by the PS-890 radars of the Saab-340 AEW&C aircraft, then it can be assumed that to reduce the radar signature, the Su-57 should be equipped with an internal fuselage version of the Kh-59MK2 with a square-section fuselage adapted for placement in the internal fuselage compartments of the Su-57.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a universal small-sized torpedo was developed in Russia. The range is up to 7 km.
