The armored vehicle provides for the possibility of installing various weapons: 30-mm automatic grenade launchers AGS-17 or "Kornet" anti-tank missile systems, as well as 7.62-mm PKM and 12.7-mm "Kord" machine guns.
If the basic version has an open rear cargo compartment, then the medical "Sarmat-3ME" already has a fully enclosed body, where two wounded can be transported on stretchers.
