Запрет на вход в порты: танкеры «Совкомфлота» попали под санкции Великобритании

London adds 18 Russian tankers to sanctions list

British authorities have imposed sanctions against 18 Russian oil tankers and 4 tankers for the transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG), the Foreign Office said, noting that this is "the largest package of sanctions against the shadow fleet of oil tankers" of the Russian Federation.

The Foreign Office explained that the 18 tankers will not be able to enter UK ports. They are also denied access to British maritime services. Thus, the total number of oil tankers blacklisted has reached 43.

Which tankers were sanctioned:

  • Sovcomflot tankers
  • LNG carriers Velikiy Novgorod, Mulan, Everest Energy and Marshal Vasilevskiy

The restrictions also affected RusGazDobycha, which is engaged in gas separation (extraction of necessary gases from a gas mixture).
