The three-axle chassis of the K3 generation transport family has received a number of advantages. In particular, good cross-country ability in difficult road conditions.

Characteristics of KAMAZ-65117-B5:

  • wheel formula 6x4;
  • 500-liter fuel tank;
  • KAMAZ 689.510-400 (Euro-5) engine with 390 hp, which allows operation as part of a road train with a gross weight of 44 tons;
  • "Restyling-2" type cab with air conditioning, autonomous cab heater, power windows, air seat, cruise control, fog lights;
  • pneumatic suspension of the rear bogie, which ensures smooth running and cargo safety;
  • hypoid drive axles and a perforated frame for easy installation of various superstructures. The permissible weight of the superstructure with cargo is 17.2 tons.

Superstructures on KAMAZ-65117-B5 can be different: from grain carriers to crane-manipulators and isothermal vans.
