УАЗ улучшил качество своих автомобилей после критики

The changes concern both civilian and military vehicles

After criticism of the quality of UAZ cars, the company has significantly improved its vehicles. This was reported in the press service of Sollers, which owns the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.

The plant is continuously working to develop the production base and switch to more modern components localized in Russia. New batches of cars, including civilian vehicles, have been improved. In particular, the fuel supply and filtration system has been improved, and power has been increased by changing the exhaust systems. The cooling system pipes are now made of a new, more durable material.

The developers have modified the luggage racks to install a protective net from FPV drones, power harnesses for electronic warfare systems, and light masking, which is activated by pressing a button from the cabin. Protection for steering rods and crankcase, as well as dampers for gear levers that absorb vibration, have been installed. Generators now have increased power, and cardan shafts have been reinforced.

Additionally, UAZ has opened more than 40 service stations in the new Russian regions and created a spare parts warehouse.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the company acknowledged the existing problems with the quality of its cars, explaining this by the impact of sanctions.
