The "VK Video" team has provided platform users with new features. Now, authors can create a unique cover design for their video page, pin a video to the top, and showcase the most important content to viewers in the new "Main" section.
You can place a cover on the video page by uploading an image of the required size.
The "Main" section now has three subsections: "New", where you can see the latest videos, "Popular", which features the most viewed videos, and five author playlists.
Content creators can independently choose the order in which these sections and videos are displayed. Additional playlists and content blocks that can also be edited will be available soon.
Cover editing is available in the web version, and the feature will be available in the "VK Video" mobile application later.
Changes made to the settings will be visible in both the web version and the mobile application of the video service.
Previously, the company conducted a major update of its "VK Music" service over the past 17 years. The main innovation was a new design for the application and music section, which are now made in a unified style. The developers also made changes to the main sections and the service's recommendation system.
