The "Atommash" plant in Volgodonsk (part of Rosatom) has shipped three steam generators for power unit No. 4 of the "Xudapu" NPP. The equipment will be sent to China. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
The total weight of the products will be 1000 tons. The steam generators will be delivered to China by road, river and sea transport.
According to the head of the Rosatom Mechanical Engineering Division, Igor Kotov, the enterprises included in the division's contour manufacture equipment for nuclear power plants that are being built in other countries. Every month, units for the reactor and machine halls of the constructed nuclear power plants are shipped from sites in Volgodonsk, St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk.
Rhythmic shipments are the result of the coordinated work of nuclear power engineers and confirmation of the high quality of Russian nuclear technologies.
