МТС внедрила функцию блокировок нежелательных звонков для абонентов других операторов

MTS Operator Announced the Launch of a Useful Update for the "Defender" Service

The Russian operator MTS has announced the launch of an update for its "Defender" service, adding a feature to block unwanted calls from subscribers of other operators. Previously, this feature was only available to MTS subscribers using "Defender" in the "My MTS" application.

Now, all incoming calls are highlighted in three colors depending on the threat: red for potentially dangerous calls, yellow for warnings about possible spam, and green for trusted calls. With the blocking feature enabled, red calls will be automatically forwarded to a bot that will talk to the scammer. After that, a notification will be sent to the application that the call has been blocked, as well as a full transcript of the conversation.

The caller ID and spam call reporting features remain free. The blocking service costs 99 rubles per month after the trial period.
