New KamAZ vehicles on hydrogen fuel cells were shown to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. The innovative truck KAMAZ-53193 is capable of carrying more than 20 tons of cargo and can travel a distance of 400 kilometers on hydrogen fuel.
The "Hydrogen Technology Center" is implementing and developing initiatives for the development of water and freight transport operating on hydrogen, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles for commercial cargo transportation.
Alexander Novak assessed the operation of the Russian power plant and the platform of the truck with hydrogen fuel cells, which were produced by PJSC «KAMAZ».
Earlier, KamAZ showed four gas engines and a tractor for the transport of dangerous goods. The company also presented one of its latest developments — the KAMAZ-62501 mobile welding station, created on the basis of a shift bus.
