Russian company "Planar" circumvents Western sanctions by using its subsidiary in the USA, Copper Mountain Technologies (CMT). Despite the restrictions, the company supplies components to Russian defense enterprises, according to Defence Blog.
The company "Planar", which has production facilities in Tomsk, plays an important role in the supply of electronics for the Russian defense sector. Its clients include manufacturers of "Inokhodets" and "Orlan-10" UAVs, as well as "Svet-KU" and "Leer-3" EW systems.
According to Defence Blog, through Copper Mountain Technologies, "Planar" continues to purchase Western electronic components needed for Russian military equipment. This includes C1209 vector network analyzers.
