Russian blogger Wylsacom showed the latest MacBook Pro M4 a month before the start of sales and before the official presentation. This is the first such review in the world. The tech community is puzzled, as there has never been such an early leak.
The new MacBook has 16 gigabytes of RAM. The previous generation device had 8 gigabytes on board. The MacBook Pro M4 processor is ten-core. The number of GPU cores is also ten.
The computer has three Thunderbolt 4 ports, which is one more than before. In addition, the laptop received a new color called Space Black.
What about performance? In the GeekBench 6 synthetic single-core test, the MacBook Pro M4 scores 3864 points, and in the multi-core test — 15,288. The base MacBook Pro M3 scored 3000 points in the single-core test and 11,800 in the multi-core test.
Note that the Western tech community was impressed by Wylsacom's review. Well-known insider Mark Gurman wrote that the Russians managed to get a new "MacBook" even under sanctions and show it.
Recall that the official presentation of the MacBook Pro M4 is likely to be held at the end of October. The fact is that sales of the device should start on November 1.
