В Кремле не знают, что будет c Apple после отказа устанавливать Rustore на iPhone

Peskov Was Asked About This

A bill may be adopted in Russia that will oblige Apple to allow users to install the RuStore app store with Russian programs on "apple" devices. The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, was asked what would happen to Apple if it suddenly did not comply with the requirements of the law. The Kremlin representative could not find an answer.

As far as I understand, "apple" equipment is not officially sold in Russia, we do not have official service, and so on. Therefore, I do not yet understand all the nuances of this document, I simply do not know them.
Dmitry Peskov

Note that it is not possible to install any app store other than the AppStore on smartphones or tablets from Apple in standard ways, unless you are an "apple" user in the European Union. And so, to get a third-party app store, you need to hack the phone, the so-called jailbreak. However, the device can be turned into a "brick".

As a reminder, on September 23, the government supported a bill obliging Apple to allow the installation of RuStore. If the document is adopted by the State Duma and signed by the president, it will take effect on September 1, 2025.
