AvtoVAZ has presented another test sample of the Lada Niva Legend, equipped with a 1.6-liter engine producing 90 horsepower. This was reported by the insider public Avtograd News.
Last week, a test vehicle Lada Niva Legend with an 11182 1.6 L 90 hp engine was assembled at VAZ. Previously, 2 similar vehicles had already been produced, and they are undergoing testing at the test site in Sosnovka.
In the future, the car factory plans to start installing more modern engines on the Niva family of cars — in 2025.
Currently, Lada Niva Legend cars are equipped with a 1.7-liter gasoline engine, the power of which is 83 horsepower.
Last week, company representatives announced plans to modernize one of AvtoVAZ's key products. In the near future, "something new" will appear on this car.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ had started producing serial Niva Sport with a 144 horsepower engine. The owner of the powerful SUV is Lada Sport. The car was registered in August 2024.
