Russian engineers have developed a smart airplane-type drone called "Molniya". The production of UAVs has already been established with the support of the state, said military correspondent Dmitry Steshin.
This is a super-cheap and at the same time very effective means of delivering ammunition further. "Molniya" lifts and carries up to 3 kg.
According to him, the drone was originally developed in garages, later the developers received state funding. A distinctive feature of "Molniya" is artificial intelligence in the guidance system.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that "Molniya" received an improved battery, due to which the UAV is capable of striking enemy positions and objects at a distance of up to 30 km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that an improved BTR-82A with increased armor protection was developed in Russia. The vehicle is armed with a 2A72 30 mm caliber cannon and is capable of withstanding a hit from B-32 armor-piercing bullets.
