The Specialized Research Institute for Instrument Engineering (SNIIP) has completed the development and manufacture of equipment for an automated radiation monitoring system (ARMS) designed to operate at the power units of the Rooppur NPP in the Republic of Bangladesh. The equipment will be sent to the construction site in a single assembly in the form of special stands. This was reported by the press service of Rosatom State Corporation.
By the end of the year, dosimeters and other personal monitoring equipment for station employees will be sent to the Republic of Bangladesh, but the main volume of "hardware" will already be at the construction site.
It is worth noting that Russian specialists have implemented such a solution for the first time for the power units of the Rooppur NPP.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the first power unit of the Akkuyu NPP is planned to be launched in 2025.
