Russia meets 50% of its needs for server equipment through its own resources. This statement was made by the Chairman of the Government of the country, Mikhail Mishustin, at the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum.
Russia already provides more than half of its own domestic server platforms and information storage systems.
The Russian side, Mishustin added, is continuously increasing the volume of domestic electronic components used in products.
The Prime Minister also proposed creating a platform that would facilitate the free movement of goods, services and labor in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Earlier, Mishustin announced the extension of benefits for microelectronics developers for three years. As part of state support, it is planned to extend the special tax rate, as well as prepare a law on the extension of benefits to electronic engineering enterprises and manufacturers of materials for this industry.
