Engineers of the "SUD" CDB-2 bureau (part of the military-industrial holding company "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant", KMZ) have developed a control console for slipway winches (special equipment for lifting cargo, used including for launching and lifting ships) for the control room.
The control system was developed by Dmitry Makareiko, and the console model by Svyatoslav Gorislavsky.
The console is designed to control a complex of four slipway friction winches and is a central control panel.
With its help, one operator will be able to carry out launching and lifting operations in automatic or manual mode, he added. Thanks to the video surveillance system, it will be possible to monitor the progress of work from the central post.
