«Большой шаг»: смартфон «Лаборатории Касперского» с собственной «операционкой» протестировали заказчики

The gadget has no camera, but it has working NFC technology and installed Telegram

A smartphone running KasperskyOS — an operating system developed by Kaspersky Lab — is already being tested by customers. This was announced by Anna Kulashova, Managing Director of the company in Russia and the CIS.

The device does not yet have a camera, but NFC technology is already installed, as well as Telegram.

In April, the device was first publicly presented by the company's CEO, Eugene Kaspersky. He emphasized that the smartphone itself was developed by Aquarius, and all the software was created by the Lab. After that, Kaspersky repeatedly stated that he personally uses the new gadget.

This is a big step, because I evaluate this smartphone from the point of view of commercial use. There is still much to be done, really.

KasperskyOS is an operating system built on a microkernel. It is not a copy of any other OS, but is a completely original solution. KasperskyOS is designed to create hardware and software systems that are protected from any threats, including those that are not yet known. And does not need antivirus programs.

Earlier, Kaspersky Lab presented a next-generation firewall. Unlike other Russian companies, Kaspersky NGFW uses its own security mechanisms built on advanced technologies. The product architecture is carefully designed and enriched with unique data.
