Hackers have data with information on almost every Russian. This was stated by Vladimir Dryukov, director of the Solar JSOC cyberattack countermeasures center of the Solar Group. He recalled that there were many different data leaks in the country from various fields: from government agencies to private organizations.
If you put one on top of the other, you really get close to a complete database, at least of the country's sexually mature population.
According to the expert, hackers use the obtained data for sale. Moreover, the attackers try to monetize every leak.
Recall that there were 168 data leaks last year. More than 300 million records about Russians were leaked to the Web. And at the beginning of this year, 500 million records about citizens of Russia were leaked to the Web.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Justice want to mitigate the punishment for companies for leaking personal data of citizens under certain conditions. Relevant amendments are being prepared for development. At the same time, the current fines for companies amount to hundreds of millions of rubles, and those who steal confidential information face up to 10 years in prison.
