Photos of one of the first Lada Vesta cars sold in Russia after the update have appeared on the RCI-News portal. These cars are called "fully functional" because they have regained many of the options lost after 2022.
The photo shows a Vesta NG car assembled in Togliatti at "stage 4". This is a sedan in the top Techno configuration with a 1.8 EVO naturally aspirated engine and a WLY CVT18 variator.
Interestingly, one of the Samara LADA dealers gave a "fully functional" LADA Vesta to a client for 2,015,000 rubles. At the same time, the recommended retail price of such a "Vesta" is 1,960,000 rubles.
According to the authors of the publication, AutoVAZ dealers are "secretly" selling the updated LADA Vesta.
In mid-August, mass production of the updated LADA Vesta model started. At the same time, AutoVAZ published information on prices for Vesta with ESC and new options.
It was assumed that mass delivery of cars to dealerships would begin at the end of September. However, due to problems with the BCM software, the plant decided to postpone the shipment of most of the cars - more than 12 thousand units.
Currently, work is underway to eliminate errors affecting traffic safety. The electronic control unit in the cars will be reprogrammed. In this regard, the official start of sales of the updated Lada Vesta has not yet been announced. Earlier, www1.ru reported that the cars are being stored on the territory of the plant.
As a reminder, AutoVAZ on September 25 suspended the assembly of LADA Vesta cars. The reason was a problem with the supply of gearboxes, and the personnel were redistributed to other divisions of the plant.
