Likino Bus Plant has resumed production of articulated buses: the first LiAZ-621365 model from an order of 52 units for "Passazhiravtotrans" has arrived at the official dealer's parking lot in the vicinity of St. Petersburg.
LiAZ presents a new product — the 6213 model, which became the first carrier of the new generation YaMZ-537 engine. In addition, this is the first serial model of an articulated bus produced by LiAZ after the resumption of production. Articulated buses have not been produced since the beginning of 2022.
Under the contract, which provides for the supply of 102 buses, 50 Volgabus-627102 buses and 52 LiAZ-621365 buses will be sent to St. Petersburg.
As a reminder, in four regions of Russia the public transport fleet has been updated. The Moscow region received 41 LiAZ-529265-03 buses, two LiAZ-529267 buses went to Kirov, and six SIMAZ 2258-0000010-538 buses went to Vladikavkaz.
Earlier, a Citymax-12 diesel bus with a new generation body was spotted again near the LiAZ plant. It also has a YaMZ-537 engine installed.
