Military personnel of the engineering troops of the Russian Armed Forces are clearing agricultural land on the line of combat contact using the Vepr mine clearing vehicle.
The main task of this equipment is to make passages in minefields, it leaves behind a strip almost four meters wide, necessary for the safe movement of automobile and tracked vehicles.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation clarified that after the "Vepr" passes through the field, sappers with hand-held mine detectors go out for a complete clearing of the area. After that, they destroy irretrievable dangerous objects with an overhead charge. In particular, over six months, the group destroyed more than 200 explosive objects.
