Как на ладони: нейросеть придет на помощь российским бойцам в создании минных карт на фронте

Demining of territories will be accelerated eightfold with the "Minskan" system

In Russia, a state-of-the-art robotic system for humanitarian demining of territories, "Minskan," has been developed. The drone first scans the territory and then creates a minefield map using a neural network; the innovation belongs to specialists from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The system allows detecting explosive objects eight times faster than foot sappers. After the end of hostilities, it will help clear the territory of dangerous finds.

The ground-penetrating radar can operate at temperatures from minus 40 to plus 40 degrees. The drone can fly in crosswinds up to 15 m/s. The system has already been developed and tested.

The enemy is increasingly starting to use remote mining methods, so there is always work for our sappers. Demining helps to gradually move forward, maintaining the possibility of full supply. With the help of drones, we conduct an initial check, find the most dangerous places, which will greatly speed up the work for our sappers.

Earlier, www1.ru wrote that Russian soldiers on the front lines began to use a flamethrower drone. This is their own development, which is a fairly simple but effective system.
