Crews of Russian Su-34NVO fighters have increased the depth of use of guided glide modifications of FAB-500M-62 aerial bombs with UMPC kits on enemy logistics hubs in rear areas.
Military expert Evgeny Damantsev noted that, according to incoming reports, the range has increased to at least 80 km. At the same time, he noted that the glide range can be increased to 110 km by dropping the FAB-500M-62 in high-altitude pitching mode at an angle of 10-15 degrees at a transonic speed of about 1270 km/h and at an echelon of 13500 m.
It is also possible to re-equip the UMPC kits with additional solid propellant rocket engines/gas generators, providing acceleration to 1350-1500 km/h and increasing the glide range to 130-150 km.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that Russian soldiers on the front line began to use a flamethrower drone. This is their own development, which is a fairly simple but effective system.
