The Russian Armed Forces are armed with a unique anti-aircraft missile and gun complex "Tunguska-M1". It provides reliable destruction of low-flying targets through the use of a single jam-resistant and high-precision radar-optical guidance system for missile and gun weapons.
The self-propelled anti-aircraft gun can perform a combat mission in various weather conditions as part of a unit or autonomously in motion or from a place at any time of the day.
The "Tunguska-M1" is a tracked chassis with a rotating turret mounted on it. The armored hull protects the equipment and the crew from being hit by fragments and bullets. The complex is designed for air defense of objects and units of the ground forces in all types of their combat operations.
It is armed with eight standard 9M311 missiles and 1904 30 mm caliber shells, with a maximum firing range of up to 10 km, a mass of 42 kg, and an average speed of up to 600 m/sec.
