The domestic manufacturer "Mikron" showcased a new domestic UHF microchip for radio frequency identification (RFID) tags at the "Microelectronics 2024" forum. The presented chip is the first of its kind produced in Russia, with a reading range of up to 14 meters. Here are the details.
A 100% domestic development will allow for the complete localization of RFID tag production within the Russian Federation to ensure the country's technological sovereignty.
According to him, the device will be produced in 2025. It will replace foreign counterparts.
The characteristics of the M25v4 microchip are as follows: it is equipped with 64 bits of memory and operates at a frequency of 867 MHz. The EPC memory in it is 192 bits, which is sufficient for recording product identifiers.
